10 Work-at-home Jobs for Moms That Pay $100 per day or more

Working from home has become so popular nowadays. Many work-from-home jobs pay so well that traditional workforce employees are all becoming interested in looking for ways to make money without leaving their homes.

Moms, especially, have become increasingly interested in working at home so that they can look after their homes and also help provide for the family. It has been almost a year since I decided to work from home.

If you are highly-motivated, well-disciplined, and tired of the daily commute to and from work, then starting a career from home may be something you can explore.

Below is a list of 10 work-at-home jobs that pay $100 per day or even more.

Web Content Writer

If you have a knack for writing and can play with words, then you might want to go for a career in writing.  A lot of businesses are now hiring online content writers to grow their businesses or to generate leads.

Online writing is one of the most in-demand work-from-home jobs that pay well. The best thing about being a writer is that you can work at your own pace as long as you can meet your deadlines.

Many freelance writers are earning a stable income creating content online and can charge around $30/ hour or more.  If you get lucky, you may find a client who would pay you almost $100 per article. On PayScale.com, a part-time freelance writer can earn around $24,000 – $115,000 every year.

In one of my blogs, I have shared how I have decided to become a WAHM and started content writing. You may head on over to my previous blog post if you would like to read some tips on how to get started as a web content writer.

Academic Writer

This is pretty much similar to number 1 on this list, but academic writing is much more structured in format and may require more intensive research than article writing.  With that, academic writers may charge differently. Academic writers can charge from $10- $50 per page.

Bloggers, much like online writers, may earn some good amount of money with their skill in writing. But can you make money just by blogging? The answer is a big YES! Bloggers earn through writing
articles in their blogs and placing ads on their post.

It may be challenging to start and maintain a blog because you need traffic to your site to make money.  It may require some time to start earning, but if you are patient and determined, then you will hit your goal. The key to profiting from a blog is to blog consistently. Once you have your audience, you might be surprised you are earning $5000 or so a month.

Aside from content writing, I am also blogging. I use my blog as my online portfolio. In another blog post, I shared about my WAHM Blogger journey and how my blog got me my first web content writing gig.  I am also earning passive income through blogging.

There are many ways to earn from blogging, like affiliate marketing and advertising, sponsored posts, offering services, and selling digital products.

Another legitimate way of earning $100 per day or more is through offering your service as an online proofreader. If you can easily spot errors while reading and cringe every time you catch that grammar mistake, then proofreading may be the perfect work-at-home job for you.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a full-time proofreader can earn as much as $39,000 per year.

Online Coach

Are you an expert in a particular field? If your answer is YES, then why not offer your services as an online coach to earn some bucks. You may charge a consulting fee while helping someone in need.

If people are always coming to you for your wisdom and knowledge about specific things, then you might consider becoming an online coach or building an online coaching business.
How much you will charge your client will depend on the type of your niche and the services you will offer. Online coaches can make around $150- $300 per hour.

Social Media Manager

Social Media Managers are also one of the most in-demand online freelancers right now. Because, why not? With the ever-increasing popularity of many different social media platforms, companies could not keep up without savvy, creative personnel to manage the social accounts of their businesses.

Social media management is a fun, creative, and flexible way to make money online. We all like browsing through our gadgets to post or check out other’s posts from social media platforms every single minute, so put your posting skills to good use and earn some cash from it.

Online Teacher/ Tutor

There are great ways to earn money teaching from home.  And guess what, this is not only an opportunity for those with a teaching degree or the certified teachers.  It can be done by college students, a professional, or even a novice tutor, for as long as you can do the job.

Salary varies from $8 to over $40 per hour.  If you have little experience or if you are teaching for a short span of time, especially if you are employed by a tutoring company, which limits contact time with every student, then you may be able to get around $8 to $10 per hour but can book as much students as you can accommodate during the day. More experienced tutors may even receive over $25 per hour.

If you are keen to build your own online tutoring business and would be open to a more personal approach, then you can charge over the $25 per hour rate for subjects like Math and English.

I also teach refresher courses in English, I do it part-time online.  My rates are more flexible depending on the number of clients per session or depending on the individualized plans and modules I create for my students.

Business owners are also seeking for online bookkeepers to keep records of the business transactions. A freelance bookkeeper can charge from $15 to $60 on an hourly basis.

If you want to make money staying at home, then you may want to offer bookkeeping services.  Those without experience can look up for free or premium bookkeeping courses that you can also accomplish online anywhere or at the comforts of your own home.

Virtual Assistant

There is a multitude of services that you can offer as a virtual assistant.  Some of the more common work a virtual assistant does on a day to day basis range from e-mail management, social media, graphic designing, content creation, cold-calling, and there are so much more.

So how much does a virtual assistant make? One can charge from $15 to $100 an hour, depending on the job requirement. Many successful virtual assistants are even earning more than $100 an hour working from home.  You need to find a company or a client who will value the quality of work and services that you may offer.

If you are beginner, you can always go for courses online to learn the tools of the trade.  All you need to become is to be disciplined, organized, and equip yourself with the necessary skills, and you might land a high-paying remote job as a virtual assistant.

Graphic Designer

If you are tech-savvy, artistic, and filled with creative juices, then you might want to learn a thing or two about graphic designing to start your way to working at home.  Graphic designing is one of the best ways to earn money from home doing what you love.

A graphic designer can work freelance with a rate from $30 to $140 an hour. However, most artist will charge on a per design basis.  A simple logo may be billed at $100 already; this is a reasonable price because the designer will create a unique work just for the client.

That is it.
